Oral Cyst Removal
Oral Cyst Removal
A cyst is a water-filled cavity. The most common cyst in the oral region is a Radicular cyst arising at the root of teeth due to infection in it. There are other cysts that occur in the mouth and jawbones.
The tooth may or may not be extracted. It slowly grows in size and can lead to disfigurement and/or infection. It is advised to be removed. Cyst removal is a minor surgical procedure. The small cyst can be removed under Local anesthesia.
It usually requires bone grafting to replace the bone lost.
